The Invisalign price in KL runs from RM6,000 to RM17,000 for a full course of treatment. Most straightforward cases — mild crowding, a bit of spacing, some front-tooth rotation — land near the lower end. Complex bite corrections that need more aligners and longer supervision sit at the upper end.
That is a wide band, and the reason clinics quote so differently is rarely the brand. It is the number of aligners your case needs, and what each clinic folds into the price. This guide breaks down both, using the actual figures we charge at our Sri Petaling clinic.

How much does Invisalign cost in KL?
Here is what we charge at Lau Dental Sri Petaling. These are the same figures on our published price list, which stays current — treat that page as the source of truth if you are reading this later.
| Treatment | Price | Typically suits |
|---|---|---|
| Invisalign (adult, full course) | RM6,000 – RM17,000 | Mild crowding through to complex bite correction |
| Invisalign First (ages 6–12) | RM9,500 – RM11,500 | Early intervention while jaws are still growing |
| Consultation | RM30 | Waived if you start treatment the same day |
| iTero 3D scan | Included (worth RM500) | Digital impressions and a before/after simulation |
For context, published Invisalign ranges across Malaysian clinics span roughly RM8,000 to RM35,000. A range that wide usually reflects differences in case complexity and what each quote includes, rather than a different product — every Invisalign case uses the same aligner system from Align Technology.

What the price actually includes
This is where quotes stop being comparable. Two clinics can both say “RM9,000” and mean quite different things. Ours covers:
- A clinical assessment with the dentist who will treat you
- An iTero 3D scan, and a simulation of your result before you commit
- The complete set of custom aligners for your case
- Every progress appointment through treatment
- WhatsApp access to the clinic while you are in treatment
Ask about these separately, at any clinic. They are the usual sources of a surprise on the final bill:
| Item | Our price |
|---|---|
| Digital X-rays (OPG, CEPH, bitewing) | RM50 – RM120 |
| 3D CBCT scan, where clinically needed | RM350 |
| Extractions, if your case needs space | From RM120 |
| Scaling before treatment starts | RM120 – RM200 |
Retainers deserve their own question. Teeth drift back after any orthodontic treatment — that is normal biology, not a failure — so retainers are part of the plan, not an optional extra. Confirm in writing whether your first set is included and what a replacement costs in two years.

Why quotes differ so much between clinics
Four things move the number, roughly in order of impact:
- How many aligners your case needs. This is the big one. Align Technology prices its packages by aligner count, so a case needing 20 trays and one needing 50 are genuinely different costs to the clinic.
- How long you are in treatment. Longer cases mean more review appointments, and more chair time to absorb.
- Whether refinements are included. Refinements are a second batch of aligners to fine-tune the finish. Many cases need them. Some quotes include them; some bill separately.
- How much diagnostic work is priced in. Scans, X-rays and simulations either sit inside the headline number or outside it.
Invisalign packages, and why they matter to your quote
Invisalign is not one product at one price. Align Technology sells it to clinics in tiers, and which tier your case needs is the single biggest reason two people get very different quotes at the same clinic.
| Package type | Aligner series | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|
| Short-course packages | Fewest trays | Minor front-tooth crowding or spacing, or relapse after old braces |
| Mid-range packages | Moderate | Noticeable crowding or spacing without significant bite change |
| Comprehensive packages | Largest, refinements included | Bite correction, rotations, cases needing extractions |
A quote near RM6,000 and one near RM17,000 are usually not the same package. When you compare clinics, ask which package you are being quoted for — it makes the numbers comparable in a way the headline figure never does.
Provider tier — Gold, Platinum, Platinum Elite — reflects how many cases a clinic has treated, not a different product. It is worth knowing because volume tends to track experience with complex cases, but it is not in itself a reason for a higher or lower price. You can verify any Malaysian dentist's registration through the Malaysian Dental Council.

Invisalign vs braces: the real difference
If cost is the deciding factor, fixed braces remain the lower-priced route:
| Option | Price | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Conventional metal braces | RM5,800 | Visible; nothing to remember to wear |
| Genius self-ligating | RM6,800 | Fewer adjustment visits; still visible |
| Damon self-ligating | RM7,300 | Low-friction system; still visible |
| Invisalign | RM6,000 – RM17,000 | Discreet and removable; depends on you wearing it |
The honest trade-off is not really money. Invisalign only works while it is in your mouth — 20 to 22 hours a day. Patients who take trays out for long stretches extend their own treatment and sometimes need refinements they would otherwise have avoided. Braces remove that variable entirely, because you cannot take them out. If you already know you are forgetful, that is worth weighing more heavily than the RM1,200 gap at the entry level.
You can see how both routes finish on our before and after gallery. Results vary between patients — these are individual cases, not a typical outcome.

Paying monthly at 0% interest
Very few patients pay for Invisalign in one go. Ours starts from RM400 a month at 0% interest, which is how most people actually budget for it.
When comparing instalment offers between clinics, three questions separate a real 0% plan from a marketing one:
- Is there a deposit, and how much of the total is it?
- Over how many months, and does the monthly figure quoted assume the longest term?
- Is 0% genuine, or is there a processing fee that functions as interest?
Most Malaysian medical insurance treats orthodontics as cosmetic and will not cover it. Some corporate dental benefits contribute a capped annual amount — worth checking with your HR before you assume otherwise.

“Invisible braces” vs clear aligners vs Invisalign
These get used interchangeably in Malaysia, and the overlap causes real confusion when comparing prices. Untangling it:
- Clear aligners — the category. Removable transparent trays that move teeth in stages. Several brands make them.
- Invisalign — one brand of clear aligner, made by Align Technology. This is what our RM6,000 to RM17,000 range refers to.
- “Invisible braces” or aligner gigi — everyday terms people search for. Usually they mean clear aligners, but sometimes ceramic or lingual braces, which are fixed and priced differently.
So when you see invisible braces price Malaysia quoted at RM3,000, it is worth checking which of those three it refers to. A significantly lower number usually means a different brand, a limited case type — front teeth only, for instance — or a shorter aligner series.
Getting a number for your case
A published range only takes you so far. Where your case sits depends on how much your teeth need to move, which needs a scan to answer properly. Our Invisalign treatment page covers how the process runs from first scan to retainer, and the consultation is RM30 — waived if you begin treatment the same day.
